Summary:
The Inside Sales Specialist will play a critical role in driving sales with clients in the beauty and personal care industry. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a deep understanding of the beauty market and a proven track record in sales. Experience with Pipedrive CRM is highly desirable. Reports directly to the CMO.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Pipedrive CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions.
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including lead conversion rates, sales targets, and revenue growth.
- Help manage our beta testing program for personal care, including recruiting new brands, managing relationships, and consolidating feedback to review with leadership team.
- Support customized outbound sales program, events, and PR strategy.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the beauty and personal care industry to leverage insights to drive sales strategy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within the beauty and personal care industry.
- Strong understanding of the beauty and personal care market, including trends, products, and key players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Comfortable generating, interpreting and speaking to data: industry statistics, a client’s own B2C sales, and analyses of their competitors
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Highly organized, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in using Pipedrive CRM a plus.

- Performance-based compensation: Base salary of $50k - $65K, plus a significant component of total compensation that is tied to sales quota achievement. Total compensation and equity participation based on qualifications
